★Imari Ware, Late Edo Period, Soba Choko (soba noodle dipping sauce cup) with a powerful dragon design on rough waves.

Product Description

This is an Imari ware, dyed, soba choko with a powerful dragon design on rough waves.

It is a standard size with clear painting,
a sturdy shape,
and a soba choko with a janome (snake's eye) foot.
The vessel is not distorted and the shape is firm,
with almost no flaws,
giving it a high-quality impression.
We believe it is from the late Edo period.

In terms of design,
it features a powerful scene with two locations depicting dragons swimming with flames above rough waves,
each with a different expression.
The subdued dragons and motifs are interesting,

The painting is meticulous,
and the well-drawn
