Butterick Making History sewing pattern 6694 to make a women's Civil War or Victorian era day dress or travel costume consisting of a nip-waist jacket and full petticoat supported skirt. Uncut pattern with factory folds and instructions. Available in Misses' Size 12-14-16. Excellent pattern for theater costumes and historical re-enactments. Misses' Top & Skirt: Fitted, interfaced, lined top has princess seams, cuffs, button/loop, shaped hem and two-layer sleeves. A: contrast collar and inner sleeves (on outer sleeve lining will show). B: contrast upper front, neck binding and sleeve. Flared skirt, floor-length has pleats, waistband, zipper, side-front seams. All garments have purchased trim, hat, umbrella, pin, petticoat.
