Beautiful vintage bouclé/tweed-style woven fabric with a wonderfully complex multicolor texture. Approximately 2 yards x 56” wide. Predominantly black, white and gray with colorful novelty threads woven throughout in turquoise, green, pink, red, blue, lavender and warm tan/gold tones. A mixture of nubby, looped and finer yarns creates lots of surface texture and a subtle irregular plaid/windowpane effect. Medium to substantial woven fabric with a classic Chanel-inspired bouclé suiting look. Lovely for a jacket, vest, skirt, handbag, hat, pillows, costuming or other specialty sewing. Likely vintage 1980s–1990s. Exact age and fiber content are unknown; likely a mixed-fiber construction. Vintage unused yardage.
