This is a Japanese Imperial Army Type 45 (Kai 45) uniform.
This is a very rare summer uniform, with no tears, holes, or insect damage whatsoever.
This uniform, while tailored, is made from fabric similar to official issue, making it extremely valuable.
Additionally, it features a half-lined interior, and the collar and cuffs have fittings for insignia and pins.
The shoulder straps have been repaired by a craftsman.
The presence of a standard small item pocket on the inside of the abdomen suggests it was used as a training or field uniform, rather than for reserve soldiers, making it a highly valuable military uniform!
The sword hanger is also beautifully preserved!
