Wonderful vintage 1970s quilted novelty fabric featuring charming storybook/prairie scenes of bonneted girls, flowers, baskets, animals and garden activities in pink, olive green, orange and brown on an ivory background. Selvage is marked © J. Manes Co., Inc. A vintage JCPenney Fashions permanent-care label remains pinned to the fabric, suggesting this was originally intended for or salvaged from a JCPenney garment/sewing project. Approximately 2 1/4 yards x 42” overall. Diamond-quilted construction with lightweight batting/backing. Fabric has been previously cut/worked with and includes separated/cut sections and some attached white quilted/lining material; please see photos for construction and condition. A delightful true-vintage print for repurposing, bags, pillows, cottagecore décor, children’s projects, quilting, or other creative sewing.
