Beautiful vintage John Kaldor fashion fabric featuring a lively scattered tulip print on a deep black ground. Painterly flowers in coral pink, bright orange and golden yellow are paired with soft sage-green leaves and subtle gray shadow accents. Selvage is marked JOHN KALDOR FABRICMAKER PTY. LTD. and JOHN KALDOR®. Approximately 3 yards x 44” wide. Estimated late 1970s–1980s vintage, most likely early 1980s. This is a lightweight, fluid and semi-sheer woven fabric with a subtle crepe-like surface and lovely drape. Exact fiber content is unknown, but it is likely synthetic or a synthetic blend. Beautiful for a flowing blouse, scarf, lined dress or skirt, sleeves, overlays, or other lightweight apparel sewing. Vintage fabric from long-term storage.
