Antique Mother of Pearl 12pc Fruit Knife Fork Set Sterling Tested Ferrules

Beautiful antique 12-piece fruit/dessert flatware set consisting of 6 knives and 6 forks, complete with the fitted wooden presentation case.  Each piece features genuine mother-of-pearl handles with beautiful natural iridescence and variation, ornate decorative metal ferrules/collars, and detailed floral and scroll engraving on the blades and forks. Metal pieces bear H A S-style maker’s marks.  The decorative ferrules/collars were tested using JSP silver testing solution and produced an immediate dark-red sterling-range reaction. The ferrules are not separately hallmarked and have not been professionally verified, so they are described as sterling-tested rather than guaranteed sterling silver. The blades and tines appear to be silver plated and are not being represented as sterling.  This is an antique pre-owned set and shows age-related wear, including tarnish, discoloration, surface marks, and plating wear, particularly on the blades and tines. The fitted wooden case also shows wear consistent with age. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
