Meiji to early Showa period? Brass Incense Burner with Lion Finial, Standing Ears, and Three Legs
46.73 $
Description
This is a brass incense burner that has been stored for many years in the storehouse of my family home.
- It has a three-legged design with decorative raised ears on the sides.
- The lid features a prominent design with a three-dimensional lion on top.
- This is solid brass, not plated, and shows some patina (verdigris).
Dimensions:
- Diameter: Approx. 8cm
- Height: Approx. 11cm (including the lion on the lid)
Condition:
- There is no damage that hinders its use, but please be aware that as it is an old item that has been used, it may have scratches and dirt.
- It has been lightly cleaned for this listing, but further polishing would likely restore its luster.
