Beautiful vintage Le Creuset enameled cast iron trivet, made in France and finished in a vibrant yellow enamel. This substantial vintage piece features an ornate openwork floral/sunburst design with a raised rim and classic heavy cast iron construction. The underside is marked FRANCE and bears a raised 23 casting mark. A wonderful functional piece for protecting countertops and tables from hot cookware, but equally beautiful displayed as vintage French kitchen décor. The bright yellow finish makes it especially striking for a colorful, French country, retro or maximalist kitchen. This is a harder-to-find vintage Le Creuset piece and would make a fantastic addition to a Le Creuset collection or colorful vintage kitchen.
