This is an authentic Ginpo Kikka Yamabuki (Yellow) Japanese Donabe Clay Pot. Handcrafted in Japan from traditional porous Banko-ware clay, it features a distinct ribbed, chrysanthemum-like lid pattern. The Yamabuki yellow colorway is highly sought after because the manufacturer has discontinued production for this specific shade, adding a premium for collectors and retro-kitchen lovers. This pot is crafted from specialized, petalite-rich heat-resistant clay, FIRE PROOF and MADE IN JAPAN stamps embossed directly into the unglazed bottom. It is designed to safely withstand direct open gas flames or stovetop heating elements. Excellent, near-mint vintage condition. The glazed black interior is exceptionally clean with zero evidence of scratching. The bottom shows beautifully minimal shelf wear, no black carbon soot buildup, and no hairline heat cracks.
