Staub Cast Iron 1.5-Quart Petite French Oven

(also widely known as the La Cocotte de GOHAN or Rice Cocotte). The vibrant yellow enamel finish pictured is officially called Citron. Engineered specifically to simulate a traditional Japanese 羽釜 (hagama) clay pot. The deeply curved sides and rounded base encourage natural convective currents to cook perfectly fluffy rice, grains, and creamy oatmeal. Chistera Drop-Structure Lid: The unique underside of the domed lid features continuous geometric spikes that collect rising steam and rain it back down evenly onto the food. Coated in Staub's signature matte black enamel, which requires zero seasoning, resists scratches, and provides a textured surface optimized for high-heat browning or searing. Features a smooth enameled bottom safe for all heat sources, including induction, gas, and electric hobs. It is also oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C). Origin: Proudly manufactured with heirloom quality craftsmanship in France. Color: Yellow or mustard
