B&M Portugal Copper Tea Kettle Wood Handle Lidded Tin Lined 7” Farmhouse Vtg

Charming vintage B&M copper tea kettle, made in Portugal, featuring a beautifully aged copper body, fitted lid, curved spout, and turned wooden handle. The copper has developed a wonderful warm, naturally mottled patina that gives the kettle plenty of old-world character.  A lovely piece of vintage European copperware that would make an attractive addition to a copper cookware collection or display beautifully in a farmhouse, cottage, French country, or traditional kitchen.  The kettle measures approximately 5 1/2” tall including the lid, 7” across including the spout, and 6” in diameter across the bottom.  Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related patina, oxidation, spotting, surface marks, and wear throughout. The interior lining shows considerable wear and discoloration with areas of exposed copper. Due to the condition of the interior lining, I recommend this piece primarily for decorative/display or collectible use rather than food preparation unless professionally evaluated and/or re-tinned.
