Vintage round damascene brooch featuring an intricate gold tone landscape with cranes or herons, cattails, water, reeds and a cathedral with spire against a black background. The brooch has a trombone clasp and magnetic construction, particularly along the back and rim. Unsigned; believed to be Toledo, Spain damascene, although the exact origin cannot be confirmed. Measures approximately 1.5 inches across. Condition: Very good vintage condition, light wear consistent with age (see photos)
