Vietnamese Pottery, Blue and White Glazed Jar, Sea-Aged Pottery, Antique Incense Container, Hoi An Shipwreck
39.60 $
Description
Purchased at an antique shop in Vietnam, this is an old cobalt blue decorated *gousu* (small lidded jar).
According to the shop's description, it is a salvaged item from the Hoi An shipwreck. I don't know the details. It's an old, hand-painted cobalt blue decorated *gousu* ceramic with a tasteful charm that I loved and purchased. As you can see from the images, it has a strong presence.
As it is an old item, please be aware that there are chips, stains, etc.
Recommended for those who like antiques and vintage items.
