Description
These vintage silver-plated spoons are in the Charter Oak pattern, originally introduced by 1847 Rogers Bros. (a division of International Silver Company) around 1906. Design: The pattern features a highly ornate design of oak leaves and acorns in high relief, characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. Pieces: The set includes a large berry or casserole serving spoon and a matching ladle. Material: They are silver-plated, a process involving a layer of silver over a base metal, which was very popular in the early 20th century.
