Description
This item belonged to my late aunt. A note indicated it is ろうけつ染め (ろうけつ dye). It appears unused with basting stitches still attached, but there is a small stain on the collar (photo 9), one stain on the left cuff (photo 10), and several stains on the lining (photos 11, 12). I believe the material is pure silk.
