Antique Cocktail Glass Lace Cloth with a richly adorned Virgin Mary, Angels, and Church, and a Rose Chromo

A set featuring a beautiful lace-trimmed antique French cocktail cloth with hand-embroidered glass items on tulle, and a sacred card from Notre Dame with a richly adorned Virgin Mary, church, and roses.

A handmade cocktail cloth once owned by nobility.
Features a cool and rare design with six rows of eye-catching embroidery, three rows on each side, symmetrically arranged on the fabric.

Includes 22 relief pieces depicting various cocktail/wine glasses, sundae/parfait glasses, (mini) goblets, liqueur glasses, and leafy fruits.

Motifs are outlined and raised with medium-thick linen thread on tulle mesh lace, meticulously hand-embroidered as if to be placed on tables, bar counters, or cabinets.
Delicate heart and diamond shapes of tulle are within the outlines.
The edges have small, charming picots.

Likely rare Alençon lace or Valenciennes lace. Resembles a still life painting of glass and porcelain, or modern art.

Three-dimensional embroidery with a sense of depth.
The surface is raised, while the reverse side is relatively flat.

Smooth, soft, sheer fabric that feels light and airy.
Superior quality texture, possibly a linen and cotton blend, with suppleness from fine threads.

Elegant, slightly greenish ivory color, a deep ivory ecru, with a charming tone that evokes an antique feel.

There are several faint ink marks in the center of the cloth.
Home cleaned and in clean condition.

Can also be used under delicate, thin vases and glasses to take advantage of its sheerness.

A set of Notre Dame cards featuring a monochrome lithograph photo of the Virgin Mary, angels, and a church, with an embossed chromo of pink roses and yellow rosebuds adhered to semi-transparent celluloid.
Features a beautiful transparent frame relief.

While there is no severe damage, there is some peeling on the edges of the chromo roses.
For those who do not mind this.

Can be combined for arrangements or used individually.
