ANTIQUE PAYE & BAKER STERLING LITTLE BO-PEEP SPOON Charming antique sterling silver Little Bo-Peep souvenir spoon, originally from my mother's New Hampshire antique shop in the 1970s. Dating approximately 1900–1915, the spoon has been identified from its hallmark as Paye & Baker of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, a prominent American silver manufacturer. The bowl features a wonderful raised image of Little Bo-Peep holding her shepherd's crook, with “Little Bo-Peep” beneath. The elegant flowing handle reflects the Art Nouveau styling of the period. Reverse is marked STERLING, although part of the mark shows wear from age and polishing, along with three decorative hallmark/cartouche impressions. DETAILS: Length: Approx. 4.75 Weight: Approx. 13g Sterling Silver • Paye & Baker • American Good antique condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina. Recently lightly polished to highlight the detail while retaining its antique character. A delightful piece for sterling, nursery-rhyme or figural spoon collectors.
