Material: Linen
A handmade doily composed of approximately three types of techniques:
1. Center: Drawn thread and cutwork embroidery techniques.
2. Intermediate ring-shaped motif band (continuous loops): A technique where small holes are made and the edges are overcast with buttonhole stitch.
3. Fine mesh section on the outer edge:
Similar structure to bobbin lace and crochet lace. Woven with fine threads to connect motifs.
A composite structure of tape-like motifs (sewn) + mesh connections (bobbin or needle), meaning it is a small lace piece constructed by combining sewing and weaving.
*The tape-like motifs are separately made tape laces.
