Description
Decorative unmarked Imari-style shallow bowl or plate featuring cobalt blue, burnt orange, green, cream, and gold-colored floral details. The center design includes a decorative vase surrounded by flowers and scrolling accents. The back is unmarked except for the handwritten number “1596.” Maker and exact age are unknown. Vintage condition with overall crazing, discoloration, surface wear, and wear to the painted and gold-colored details. One small chip is present on the underside edge, as clearly shown in the photos. No other chips or cracks were found. For decorative display or collecting. Due to its age and condition, I would not recommend it for serving food.
