Vintage CorningWare Blue Cornflower P-19 Oval Platter Meat Tray with Cradle Rack

This is a quintessentially American kitchen classic: a vintage Corning Ware P-19 oval serving platter in the beloved Blue Cornflower pattern. Introduced in 1958, this pattern became a staple of mid-century homes for its durability and freezer-to-oven-to-table versatility. This large meat platter features a recessed well design for juices and is accompanied by its original chrome-plated wire serving cradle, which allows for safe table-side presentation directly after roasting. The platter measures approximately 16.5 inches by 10.25 inches.  Condition Description: This set is in very good vintage condition.. The white Pyroceram platter is bright and glossy with a crisp blue pattern.. There are no chips or cracks.. The interior shows light, superficial utensil marks consistent with normal use, which may be improved with a gentle specialty cleaner. The metal cradle rack is structurally sound with minor, age-appropriate pitting to the chrome and intact wood handles.
