Description
This is a hibachi (charcoal brazier) that was stored long-term at my parents' home.
It features a Kachou Fuugetsu (flower, bird, wind, moon) pattern. The handles appear to be modeled after elephant trunks.
All six patterns are different, and each is a highly artistic carved finish.
It is made of brass and has verdigris inside, indicating its age.
I believe it is a very rare item nowadays.
Simply placing it in a room creates an overwhelming presence.
It's great for shop displays or for arranging flowers; its uses are diverse.
