This is a silk Meisen Michiyuki coat.
The black base with red and white polka dots is adorable.
The tailoring is lovely, featuring a modern Chiyoda collar and decorative buttons from Western clothing.
There are remnants of stitching from the kimono era near the front and back sides.
This item has been remade from a kimono that was washed and unpicked.

The item has been stored after being remade and has not been worn.
The lining is red cotton, which is new fabric.
There is also a slight storage odor.
The sleeves are short, making it easy to coordinate with Western clothing.
