Vintage 1970s Thorogood men’s enamel chukka boots, Style 1255, made in the USA. These distinctive three-eyelet boots feature a high-shine black man-made enamel/vinyl upper, tan leather lining, rounded toe, and heavy-duty oil-resistant Hypalon outsole. A documented deadstock example of the same Thorogood Style 1255 identifies the model as a 1970s enamel chukka boot with man-made uppers, deerskin lining, and HYPALON OIL RESISTANT soles. Hypalon is a durable chlorosulfonated polyethylene synthetic rubber known for resistance to weathering, heat, abrasion, chemicals, and oil.
