【Showa Retro】Akabeko Pair - Set of 2 - Vintage item, 40-50 years old - Folk toy, lucky charm

Thank you for viewing.

[About the Product]
This is a set of Akabeko (red cow) figurines (red and black), approximately 40 to 50 years old.
Akabeko is a traditional craft from Fukushima Prefecture and a local folk toy cherished as an amulet for warding off evil and for good luck.
Its charming appearance, with its head gently swaying, is sure to bring you comfort.
It has been carefully stored on a display shelf at home for many years.
The deep color and the unique expression from hand-painting, which are not found in newer items, are its appeal.

[Condition]
- As this is a vintage item from 40-50 years ago, there are slight scuffs and minor paint peeling due to age, which is why it is listed as Slightly scratched.
- There are no chips or damage, and the head movement is smooth.
