Vintage 1970s/80s Coach NYC Red Leather Basic Bag Glue-In Creed Brass Hardware

A gorgeous vintage Coach NYC Basic Bag in a beautiful, saturated red glove-tanned leather. This is an early Coach piece featuring the sought-after glue-in creed, original brass hardware, and its original Coach keychain/hangtag.  The bag has the wonderful character of early Coach leather, with natural variation, wrinkles and a soft vintage patina. The structured rectangular silhouette and zip-top construction make it both collectible and very wearable. The leather remains supple and the bag holds its shape beautifully. There are visible vintage marks and signs of wear, including a longer pen mark on the exterior, smaller scuffs and spots, and some wear along the edges and piping. The brass hardware shows normal age-related patina. The interior is clean overall with normal signs of vintage use.
