Vintage 1975 Timex 5510 France Mechanical Hand Wind 28mm Watch For Parts Repair Vintage Timex mechanical hand-wind wristwatch dating to 1975. Dial is marked 5510 02375, indicating model 5510, movement 023, and 1975 production. Inside case back is marked CASE FRANCE TIMEX. Approx. 28mm case diameter. FOR PARTS OR REPAIR / NOT WORKING: The winding mechanism/crown is currently stuck and the watch is not running. No further mechanical testing or servicing has been performed. The watch is in heavily used vintage condition with significant age-related wear. The acrylic crystal has numerous scratches and marks. The dial shows aging, discoloration and surface wear. Case/bezel has scratches, plating wear and other cosmetic imperfections. The black strap is extremely dry, stiff and deteriorated from age and should be considered in need of replacement.
