This is a masterpiece iron kettle with a Ubaguchi (old woman's mouth) spout and an interior baked black (inner surface black baked) finish.
Black baked is a traditional finishing method where the inside of the iron kettle is fired at high temperatures to form an oxide film, a unique technique for high-quality iron kettles.
The condition is that there are some minor scuffs on the bottom and slight rust due to storage, but as it is a nearly unused stored item, the interior black baked finish is beautiful, making this a highly recommended masterpiece iron kettle.
A new one would currently cost over 30,000 yen.
