Vintage Yellow Chinoiserie Bud Vase, Japanese Famille Jaune Porcelain

This small, rounded ovoid vase features a brilliant, opaque yellow enamel background—reminiscent of traditional imperial Chinese Famille Jaune porcelain. The front showcases a beautifully hand-painted, detailed pink peony blossom flanked by delicate green leaves, while a small bird perched on a thorny branch accents the side. Originally manufactured as a small ginger jar, this piece is missing its original lid but functions beautifully as a standalone decorative accent, bud vase, or addition to a vintage porcelain collection. Origin: Stamped on the bottom Japanese Porcelain Ware, Hand Decorated in Hong Kong (dating from the 1960s–1980s). Dimensions: Approximately 4.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor markings consistent with age.. No chips, or cracks. Glossy glaze and hand-painted details remain bright and intact. Please note the lid is not included.
