Description
Antique Ottoman Turkish belt. Very heavy. Brass (or brass alloy) inlaid with niello panels. I have not tested the panels for silver content. 19th century/c1800s. Etchings have faded/worn but are all still intact. Some have shifted slightly. Tip of buckle hook is still intact! Light signs of wear, dents, and marks on metal, but in overall decent condition being from the 19th century.
