Vintage Samsonite Profile II Burgundy Red Train Case Vanity Luggage Mirror

Travel had a little more style when pieces like this classic Samsonite Profile II were made. Finished in a rich burgundy red with gleaming silver tone trim, this hard shell train case has that unmistakable retro look that makes vintage luggage so appealing.  Likely dating to the late 1970s to early 1980s, the case opens to a cream colored interior with its original mirror and elasticized storage pockets. It's perfect for displaying with a vintage luggage collection, using as a vanity or makeup case, storing jewelry and keepsakes, or adding authentic retro character to a photo shoot or décor.  This is a genuine preowned vintage piece and shows age appropriate character, including scuffs, scratches and wear to the exterior, particularly around the handle and trim. The interior has some discoloration and staining from age and use. There is also a slight impression/indentation in the interior of the case, as shown in the photos. It does not detract from the wonderful overall look of the piece.  A beautiful piece of classic Samsonite luggage with plenty of life and retro charm remaining.
