KAMAKA keiki KK-15 Vintage
I have been collecting ukuleles as a hobby and restoring old ones. (Please note that these are amateur repairs.) I've decided to declutter and sell some of them.
If you are looking for a pristine item, I recommend purchasing from a specialized musical instrument store.
I purchased this used.
This is a Kamaka Keiki KK-15. It is a higher-end model featuring ivoroid binding around the outer edge of the body top and inside the soundhole.
There are multiple small scratches on the body. There is one crack on the body surface, which has been repaired with adhesive and a backing patch. Please see photo 6.
The back plate was attached with a misalignment, so the back plate and side plate have been shaved and corrected. Please see photos 12-16.
It features a warm, large sound characteristic of mahogany.
The top and back are made of solid, one-piece wood.
Body: Solid Mahogany
Neck: Mahogany
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Bridge: Rosewood
This ukulele was made in the 1960s and has been re-repaired after previous repairs. How about this for someone interested in Japanese-made Kamakas?
Ukuleles in good condition are quite expensive, but I am listing this as a junk item. It's a loud, solid mahogany ukulele.
No claims or returns, please.
It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap or protective paper and placed in a recycled cardboard box.
