Vintage Johnson Brothers Blue Coaching Scenes Covered Sugar Bowl | England

A charming piece of English transferware, this vintage covered sugar bowl by Johnson Brothers features the beloved Blue Coaching Scenes pattern—a romantic pastoral design depicting a horse-drawn coach traveling through the English countryside. Rendered in classic blue and white, the detailed transfer decoration wraps the piece with the kind of old-world character that makes English transferware so timeless. The coordinating lid completes the silhouette, making this a beautiful piece for both display and use. History & Craftsmanship Made in England by Johnson Brothers, a pottery maker with roots dating to the late 19th century, the Blue Coaching Scenes pattern draws inspiration from traditional English country life.
