I have been collecting ukuleles as a hobby and restoring old ones. (Please note that these are amateur repairs.) I've decided to declutter and sell some of them.
If you are looking for a pristine item, I recommend purchasing from a specialized musical instrument store.
I purchased this used.
This is a LUNA No.500 ukulele. Among vintage ukuleles manufactured in the 1960s, this No.500 model was considered a high-end item from LUNA.
As seen on LUNA No.400 models from that era, there is some cloudiness on the body (see photos 6 and 14). While cleaning has improved it slightly, the neck area appears to have more cloudiness (see photos 7 and 15).
There are two scratches on the back (see photos 9 and 10).
Among LUNA No.500 models, this one has an early label inside the soundhole and frets directly attached to the neck, indicating it is relatively old.
