This is a vintage round table manufactured by Lane in August 1966. It is an extremely rare item.
History: Founded in 1912 in Altavista, Virginia, USA as the Standard Red Cedar Chest Company, it later changed its name to LANE.
Signature Products: Famous for its cedar chests with high airtightness and insect-repellent properties, these were once a staple wedding gift, known as Hope Chests.
Design: From the 1950s to the 1970s, the company produced many high-quality mid-century modern furniture pieces, including the Acclaim series, which was influenced by Scandinavian design.
The stamp in the image matches the style of brand stamps often found inside drawers, on the underside of tabletops, or on the bottom of furniture.
