FISCHEL Armchair Dark Brown
144.54 $
Description
Dark brown wooden armchair by FISCHEL, featuring a classic bentwood design.
The seat cushion is removable. It has stoppers, so it won't slip off.
The seat features a bas-relief of a deity and two angels, giving it a strong personality that leans more towards art than furniture. It is likely extremely difficult to obtain domestically.
As this is an old item, we cannot offer any guarantees. However, there are no cracks or wobbles, and it can be used for sitting normally.
[About FISCHEL]
David Gabriel Fischel, who sold vegetable oil in Prague, established Fischel (D.G. Fischel synove) in June 1871 with his eldest son, Alexander Fischel, who was working at Thonet's factory in Koricani, after the patent for Thonet's bentwood expired.
