Signed Studio Art Pottery Blue Drip Glaze Serving Bowl 9.5” Hand Thrown 1989

Vintage Studio Art Pottery Floral Bowls – Set of 2 Beautiful matched pair of vintage-style studio art pottery bowls featuring a striking abstract botanical/floral design in warm coral, pink, terra-cotta and cream tones. Each bowl has a wonderfully organic handcrafted appearance with a bold floral interior, coral-red rim and heavily textured mottled exterior glaze in warm cream, ochre and brown tones. Approximately 7.25–7.5” in diameter and 3” tall. No maker’s mark or signature was found, so the artist/maker and exact age are unknown. Condition: Pre-owned with age/use-related wear. There are small areas of glaze loss/chipping along the underside foot rims and some fine crazing/lines visible on the recessed undersides. Natural glaze variations and irregularities are present throughout and contribute to the handmade appearance. Please review close-up photos carefully for condition. A striking pair for eclectic, bohemian, retro, maximalist or studio pottery decor. Wonderful displayed together, used as decorative bowls, or added to a collection of handmade ceramics.
