Description
These are a beautiful, vintage pair of Spode salt and pepper shakers in the timeless Christmas Tree (Holly & Mistletoe) design pattern in the highly collectible egg-shaped style featuring a classic deep green trim band accenting the top domes. Spode ENGLAND backstamp printed on the bottoms (late 20th century production) Complete 2-piece set (one multi-hole salt shaker, one single-hole pepper shaker) along with both original flexible plastic bottom plugs/stoppers. Excellent vintage condition! There are absolutely no chips, cracks, flea bites, or crazing visible on the glaze. The holly leaf decals and green trim bands remain bright and complete. The bottom unglazed rims show very light, normal shelf wear as expected from age and gentle use. Please review the detailed photos to verify the condition and backstamps for yourself.
