Vintage Japanese pottery cup and saucer set with a distinctive pierced heart design. The cups have a gray-green crackle glaze with a wide raised and textured decorative band in brown, rust, cream and black tones. Matching saucers have the same crackle glaze with gold-tone decorative accents. Bottoms are marked JAPAN. Set includes 2 cups and 2 saucers. Cups measure approximately 4 inches tall and saucers approximately 5.5 inches in diameter. Pierced heart cutouts, gray-green crackle glaze, raised textured decoration, multicolor accents, gold-tone detailing, loop handles, matching saucers and JAPAN marking. Vintage pre-owned condition with overall crackle/crazing to the glaze and normal surface and finish wear from age. There is some wear to the gold-tone decoration. I do not see any major chips or cracks. Please see all photos for details and condition. Due to the weight this item cannot be bundled.
