Wedgwood #2243 20th Century 40's-80's Embossed Queens Ware tea set serving piece

Item Condition: Excellent great condition! Lightly used, no broken pieces, light stain, cosmetic, no chips.  Wedgwood Embossed Queens Ware with the OF ETRURIA & BARLASTON and MADE IN ENGLAND backstamps, especially with a pattern number 2243, would most likely fall into the mid-20th century.  More specifically, this combination of marks and the continued popularity of Queens Ware with specific pattern numbers points to a production period roughly from the 1940s through the 1980s.  Brand: Wedgwood  Pattern/Line: Embossed Queens Ware. This is a classic Wedgwood pattern known for its raised, decorative borders. In your set, the border features a floral or vine motif, which appears to be in a light blue or periwinkle color against a cream-colored background.
