Light age-related wear throughout, including some wear to the gold gilt accents along the rim and handle. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Antique Rosenthal Monbijou Printemps porcelain cabinet plate in the elegant Louis XIV form, dating to approximately the late 1890s to early 1900s. Features a charming pastoral scene of a young girl with lambs surrounded by delicate green fern decoration, accented by an ornate scalloped shape, molded handle, and hand-applied gold gilt trim.  Marked on the reverse with the Rosenthal crown and crossed-sticks mark, Louis XIV form designation, Printemps pattern name, and Germany country mark. A beautiful example of early German porcelain and a wonderful addition to any Rosenthal, antique porcelain, Victorian, or decorative arts collection.
