Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Southern Special Platter & Plates Set Hand Painted
Blue Ridge

Description
This charming 7-piece vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries tableware set features the hand-painted Southern Special floral pattern. The lot consists of one oval serving platter measuring 12.5 by 9.5 inches, three small bread plates measuring 6 inches in diameter, and three small dessert bowls measuring 5.5 inches in diameter. Each piece showcases unique, freestyle brushstrokes from authentic Erwin, Tennessee artisans. The set is in fair to good vintage condition with no major structural chips or cracks on the faces. There is age-related discoloration on the platter and the plates, along with natural factory glaze pops, and unglaze base marks consistent with historic earthenware. The smaller plates and bowls are unmarked on the back, which is common for this line. Southern Special pattern, hand painted underglaze, vintage dishware, Erwin Tennessee, cottagecore, farmhouse decor, replacement china, ceramic platter, floral tableware, distressed vintage, retro dining 082600-LA
