Vintage Desk with Two Drawers, Purchased at an Antique Shop (Discount Available for Pickup)

A [double pedestal desk] purchased at an antique shop several years ago.
The chrysanthemum-like carvings on the drawer pulls add a sense of luxury.

I believe it is made in Japan, but the era is unknown.
It has a substantial, retro, vintage feel,
reminiscent of an executive desk or a professor's or writer's desk.

It is a separate type, divided into 3 parts: both sides and the top.
Each part is made of thick solid wood, so it is heavy (wood type unknown).
★The key was missing from the time of purchase.
★There was a slight old smell inside the door box from the time of purchase.
