Saigoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage Tanigumi-san Kegon-ji Bear Bell - Fulfillment Commemorative Bell Charm
This is a bell charm from Tanigumi-san Kegon-ji Temple in Gifu Prefecture, known as the final sacred site for completing the pilgrimage of the 33 Holy Sites of Saigoku.
It is said to be a bell commemorating the completion of the pilgrimage, awarded as proof of finishing.
The frequency of use is unknown.
It makes a very beautiful (and rather loud) bell sound.
I think it would be perfect as a bear bell for hiking.
How about adding it to your collection?
