This is a silicone gel type drum mute item.
Are you having trouble with tissues and tape leaving marks on your drumhead, or with ring-type mutes that don't allow for fine adjustments?

With the silicone gel type, marks are less likely to remain, and you can easily adjust the sound to your preference by changing the position of the mute or by applying 2-3 mutes to a single tom or snare.

Even if the adhesive strength is lost due to dirt and dust, it can be restored by washing with water and drying! It can be used repeatedly (although it is a consumable item, so it won't last forever...).
Recently, it has also been featured in videos on YouTube and other platforms.
How about this as a new drum item?

? What is a mute in the first place?
By attaching something to a snare, tom, or cymbal, you suppress overtones (the lingering unnn... sound after hitting). This prevents the sound from becoming muddy or getting lost, and brings out a tighter sound.
