Vintage Nemadji Pottery Vase Green Brown Black Swirl Marble 3.8" Unmarked

Vintage Nemadji Pottery Vase Green Brown Black Swirl Marble 3.8 Unmarked Description: Vintage Nemadji Pottery vase in an unusually wide, low-profile form with beautiful hand-painted green, brown, black and cream swirling decoration. This piece is unmarked, but it was identified as Nemadji Pottery by the original owner. Its distinctive swirling decoration, rustic earthenware construction, unglazed exterior and glazed interior are characteristic of Nemadji pottery. The compact, sculptural shape makes this especially appealing as a decorative accent for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Southwestern, boho, or eclectic interiors. Measurements: • Approximately 3.8 tall • Approximately 5.75 diameter at widest point Condition: No chips or cracks visible. The top rim is slightly uneven but is not distracting. There is age-related surface wear, discoloration, small marks and scuffs consistent with the rustic finish and vintage age. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description. Please note: Nemadji pottery is sometimes described as “Indian pottery,” but it was commercially produced in Minnesota rather than being Native American-made.
