Glazed Ceramic Double-Handled Vase in Brown and Green

For sale is a truly remarkable, museum-quality piece of Canadian ceramic history.  This is a massive 15” inch statement floor vase manufactured by the famous Blue Mountain Pottery (Collingwood, Ontario) right before they permanently shut their doors. It was purchased brand new in 1995, this vase was never placed on display.  It has been safely stored away in a climate controlled environment for over 30 years, locking its vintage condition into absolute perfection.  Rare Greco Roman “Amphora “or “Trophy Urn”bottle silhouette with two elegant, delicate side handles.  The rim is a gorgeous fluted , ruffled/scalloped “petal” design at the top opening,  part of BPM’s premium  late era “cobalt “ collection. Features stunning  “reflowing streaks of teal, blue, brown, and beige.
