Vintage Mason’s Patent Ironstone Chartreuse Vase Green Gold Floral Made in Engla
Mason'S
Mason’s Patent Ironstone “Chartreuse” vase or spill vase, made in England. The backstamp: * Mason’s * Patent Ironstone * Made in England * “Chartreuse” (the pattern name) The Chartreuse pattern was produced in the mid-20th century (roughly 1940s–1960s) and is known for its deep green transfer print with hand-applied gold accents. The shape is a small vase or spill holder (originally used for fireplace tapers). Condition * ✅ No chips or cracks visible. * ✅ Gold is still fairly strong. * ✅ Colors are vibrant. * ⚠️ Some crazing is present, which is very common with Mason’s ironstone of this age. Overall I’d call it very good vintage condition.
