Vintage Cobalt Blue Glass Hanging Wall Pocket Bud Vase Jack in Pulpit Flared Rim

This item is a mid-century hand-blown cobalt blue art glass hanging bud vase, also referred to as a wall pocket vase or cone vase. The piece features a cylindrical body that tapers toward the bottom and opens at the top into a flared, five-pointed rim reminiscent of a Jack-in-the-Pulpit flower silhouette. The body is constructed from thick, transparent cobalt blue glass. A clear glass loop handle is fire-fused to the lower third of the body, allowing the piece to be suspended vertically by wire, cord, or ribbon. The rounded base features an unground, raw pontil scar left from the glassblowers punty rod, meaning the vase cannot stand unsupported on flat surfaces. The flared rim panels show linear ridges textured directly into the glass. 7.5” x 4.75” Weighs 14 oz before packaging Very good vintage preowned condition
