A solid piece of American industrial history. This Westinghouse ceramic high voltage insulator has the rich brown glaze and hefty construction that collectors and decorators both look for. Made from ceramic with a threaded center and classic brown glaze finish. Marked Westinghouse, model 1311. Condition is gently used with minor wear. Surface scratches present. Small chips in the glaze in a few spots. Some residue inside the threaded center. Great display piece for industrial, vintage, or early American home aesthetics. Sits well on a shelf or mantle alongside other antique hardware and signage.
